You Will need:
- 8mm pearls x 70
- Size 11 seed beads
- 2 metres of Tiger tail
- 25cm Chain
- Jump Rings
- Clasp
Leaving a 6 inch tail, and using 2 metres of tiger tail, string 1 large bead, 1 seed bead.
Take your wire back down the large bead missing the seed bead.
Keeping your tension tight, string a further large bead and a seed bead, before again migging the seed bead and going back down the larger bead.
Continue like this pulling beads down on top of each other until you get the desired length. Try and pinch your beads together before pulling the wire up to keep them as close together as possible. The wire is almost Zig Zagged if you look at it and is quite stretchy.
If you find you are struggling with getting your wire through your pearls take the point of your wire through the small size hole first.
Continue until you have used all your beads up.
Adding the Chain
Stringing with a crimp and wire protector (a horse shoe shaped finding which is hollow).
Onto your wire string 2 crimp beads followed by your wire protector.
Now add your chain into the centre of the wire poritector, before taking your tiger tail back down the crimp beads and flattening your crimps against your tiger tail with your flat nose pliers. Remember that all the weight of your necklace is held at this point.
Repeat on the other side of your necklace. Onto one side add your clasp using your jump ring; the other side is then completed with a further jump ring.
