Brick stitch is one of the basic bead weaving techniques. Anything that is designed in a grid sequence can be threader, ie cross stitch patterns. This also replicates loom work, without having to sew in all your threads, however, it is much slower.
String a stopper bead, then pick up the first row of your pattern. In this case you will be picking up 10 of your colour A beads.
Pick up a further Col A bead and take your needle back up through the top bead in your column. Pull your thread so that the bead sits neatly next to the top bead.

Now Take your needle back down the new bead you have just added:

You will continue beading your pattern by picking up 1 bead at a time and sewing it onto the side of the bead you want it to sit next to.
The 2nd bead in this column will be Col B.
When you get down to the bottom of your row you can either reverse back up the 3rd row, or flip your work so that the bottom becomes the top and then start your 3rd row.
Work all 10 rows and finish off your thread by sewing into the centre of your work, until you are happy that it's secure.
